FireFly (FY) is a low cost carrier airline operating domestic and international routes. The airline gives the passenger with a cabin baggage allowance of 7 kg and maximum dimension of 56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm (L x W x H). The international route ticket fare includes checked baggage allowance of 10 kg while the domestic route ticket fare includes checked baggage allowance of 10 kg. Check in time at the airport starts from 180 minutes before the scheduled flight departure time. Online check in is possible for flights on FireFly official website. It can be done 7 days before flight departure time.

Fill in the passenger and contact information on the booking page. 5. Process your payment through the selected payment method. 6. Get your FireFly flight e-ticket in the My Booking page, or in your email.

History

Throughout the years, FireFly intended to satisfy their loyal passengers by expanding its services. This airline was first commenced on 03-04-2007. The first ever flight route was Penang (PEN) - Kota Bharu (KBR) using Airbus A310. FireFly has been awarded best value airlines award in 2010.

Flight Attendant

FireFly cabin crew wears a uniform in orange, grey, white. For male flight attendants, they wear white shirt with list orange, grey vest and grey trousers. For female flight attendants, they wear orange dress with white belt and orange skirt, orange shoes. The uniform itself represents their strong commitment to provide an outstanding passengers' experience throughout the flight.

Baggage

Web Check-in

Passengers can do web check in through the official website of FireFly. To do so, click here to go to the airline’s check-in page. Online check-in page can be done 7 days prior to scheduled departure time.

Airport Check-in

Check-in counters for FireFly opens 180 minutes before the scheduled flight departure time. You are advised to check in at least one and a half hours before the check in and baggage drop counter at the airport closes.

Kiosk Check-in

FireFly does not support kiosk check in services for the passengers.

App Check-in
