Cabin Baggage

Passengers using the service of Air Tanzania are given a cabin baggage allowance included in their ticket fare

Personal Item Bag

At no additional fee, customers are allowed to carry an underseat bag on board, with a maximum dimension of personal_item_size, as well as any items purchased at the airport. It is important to ensure that everything fits underneath the seat in front of them.

Checked Baggage

Free checked baggage allowance is provided for the passengers flying on Air Tanzania. Passengers flying international flights do not get free checked baggage allowance, but passengers on domestic routes get 23 kg free checked baggage allowance. Air Tanzania gives free checked baggage allowance for the passengers. Passengers on international route will have 46 kg free checked baggage allowance, but passengers flying domestic route with Air Tanzania do not get checked baggage allowance. Free checked baggage allowance is available for the passengers flying on Air Tanzania
