Introduction

FireFly (FY) is a low cost carrier airline operating domestic and international routes. The airline gives the passenger with a cabin baggage allowance of 7 kg and maximum size of 56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm (L x W x H). The international route fare includes checked baggage allowance of 10 kg while the domestic route flight ticket fare also includes checked baggage allowance of 10 kg. Airport check in time at the airport starts from 180 minutes before the flight departure time. Online check in is possible for flights on FireFly official website. It can be done 7 days prior to flight departure time.

History

FireFly which operates with IATA (FY) and ICAO (FFM) is managed by FlyFirefly Sdn Bhd. The airline was founded in 2007. During the year of its establishment, FireFly always strives to earn a position as one of the most favourable airlines in the future. This airline was first flown on 03-04-2007. The first ever flight route was Penang (PEN) - Kota Bharu (KBR) using Airbus A310. FireFly has been awarded best value airlines award in 2010.

Flight Attendant

FireFly cabin crew wears a uniform in orange, grey, white. For male flight attendants, they wear white shirt with list orange, grey vest and grey trousers. For female flight attendants, they wear orange dress with white belt with orange skirt, orange shoes. Apart from a beautifully made uniform, FireFly cabin crew always committed to exceed their passengers’ expectations by offering excellent flight services and safety quality.

Baggage

Web Check-in

Passengers can do web check in through the official website of FireFly. To do so, click here to go to the airline’s check-in page. Online check-in can be done 7 days prior to scheduled departure time.

Airport Check-in

Check-in counters for FireFly opens 180 minutes before the departure time. You are advised to check in at least one and a half hours before the check in and baggage drop counter at the airport closes.

Kiosk Check-in

Kiosk check in service is not available for passengers of FireFly.

App Check-in
