Introduction

FireFly (FY) is a low cost carrier airline operating domestic and international routes. The airline gives the passenger with a cabin baggage allowance of 7 kg and maximum size of 56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm (L x W x H). The international route flight ticket fare includes checked baggage allowance of 10 kg while the domestic route ticket fare also includes free checked baggage allowance of 10 kg. Airport check in time at the airport starts from 180 minutes before the scheduled flight departure time. Check in online is possible for flight with the airline on FireFly official website page. It can be processed 7 days before flight departure time.

How to Book

1. Go to Airpaz site, or open the Airpaz application (Android/iOS) on your handphone. 2. Fill in the flight details in the flight search box. 3. Choose the best flight. 4. Fill in the contact and passenger details on the booking page. 5. Process payment through the selected method. 6. Get your FireFly flight e-itinerary in the My Booking page, or in your email.

History

FireFly which operates with IATA code (FY) and ICAO code (FFM) runs under the management of FlyFirefly Sdn Bhd. In 2007, this airline was founded. During its period of development, FireFly has grown significantly and continues to offer a reliable service for their loyal passengers. This airline was first flown on 03-04-2007. The first ever flight route was Penang (PEN) - Kota Bharu (KBR) using Airbus A310. FireFly has been awarded best value airlines award in 2010.

Flight Attendant

FireFly cabin crew wears a uniform that is dominated by orange, grey, white. For male flight attendants, they wear white shirt with list orange, grey vest with grey trousers. For female flight attendants, they wear orange dress with white belt with orange skirt, orange shoes. This uniform has been beautifully laid out, making the crew look more refined.

Baggage

Web Check-in

Through the official website of FireFly, passengers can do web check in. To do so, click here to go to the airline’s check-in page. Online check-in page can be done 7 days prior to scheduled departure time.

Airport Check-in

Airport check in can be done in the FireFly check-in counters 180 minutes prior to the flight departure time. You are advised to check in at least one and a half hours before the check in and baggage drop counter at the airport closes.

Kiosk Check-in

This service is not available for passengers flying with FireFly.

App Check-in

Check in through the airline’s official mobile (Android/iOS) application is possible. To do so, the passengers should download the FireFly mobile application on their handphone.
