History

TransNusa which operates with IATA (8B) and ICAO (TNU) was first founded in 2005. The airline is operated under PT TransNusa Aviation Mandiri. Throughout its journey, TransNusa aims to serve more customers through the services it provides. This airline started its operation on 04-08-2005. The first ever flight route was Kupang (KOE) - Lewoleba (LWE) using Aerospatiale/Alenia ATR 42-300/320. TransNusa has been awarded "Global Fleet Operational Safety" in 2014. The milestone that has been reached by the airline is in 2011, a new expansion phase of scheduled flight, obtained AOG121 scheduled flight license from DGCA, in 2017, present the new TransNusa management with a new strategy.
