History

Aeromexico which operates with IATA (AM) and ICAO (AMX) was first established in 1934. The airline is managed by Aerovías de México, S.A. de C.V.. During the year of its development, Aeromexico continued to innovate its business by establishing a worthwhile and enjoyable experience for their loyal customers. This airline started its operation on 14-09-1934. The first ever flight route was Mexico City (MEX) - Acapulco (ACA) using Stinson SR Reliant 5A.
