History

TransNusa operating with IATA code (8B) and ICAO code (TNU) is operated under PT TransNusa Aviation Mandiri. The airline was first founded in 2005. Throughout the years, TransNusa intended to satisfy their loyal customers by enhancing its services. This airline was first commenced on 04-08-2005. The first ever flight route was Kupang (KOE) - Lewoleba (LWE) using Aerospatiale/Alenia ATR 42-300/320. TransNusa has been awarded "Global Fleet Operational Safety" in 2014. Nowadays, the airline has successfully reached in 2011, a new expansion phase of scheduled flight, obtained AOG121 scheduled flight license from DGCA, in 2017, present the new TransNusa management with a new strategy.
