History

TransNusa which operates with IATA code (8B) and ICAO code (TNU) was established in 2005. The airline runs under the management of PT TransNusa Aviation Mandiri. During the year of its development, TransNusa aims to satisfy more customers through the services it provides. This airline began its operation on 04-08-2005. The first ever flight route was Kupang (KOE) - Lewoleba (LWE) using Aerospatiale/Alenia ATR 42-300/320. TransNusa has been awarded "Global Fleet Operational Safety" in 2014. Nowadays, the airline has succeeded in reaching in 2011, a new expansion phase of scheduled flight, obtained AOG121 scheduled flight license from DGCA, in 2017, present the new TransNusa management with a new strategy.
