History

Aircalin operating with IATA (SB) and ICAO (ACI) was founded in 1983. The airline is operated under Air Caledonie International Ltd.. Over time, Aircalin always tries its best to obtain a position as one of the most favourable airlines in the future. This airline began its operation on 02-12-1983. The first ever flight route was MEL - NOU using Boeing 747. Today, the airline has successfully obtained in October 2017, Aircalin has firmed up its order for new Airbus aircraft,starting January 2018, Aircalin and Air Vanuatu started their codeshare agreement.
